Applications are invited for program management and technical positions in the Washington D.C. area for supporting programs in Information Systems at the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) of Pennsylvania State University. ARL offices are located in Crystal City, Va.
Current work in the department of Information Sciences is focused on establishing a national testbed for Remote Equipment Diagnostics, Defense Enterprise Integration, Distributed Interactive Simulation for Command and Control and manufacturing applications.
Minimum qualifications are a masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and ten years experience in managing programs in Defense Information Systems or Command and Control. A technical background relating to wide area networking, data and process modeling, interoperability, database design or information systems architectures is desirable.
