CALL FOR PAPERS
The SCI'97 Focus Symposium on BPR aims to provide a global forum for knowledge exchange on applications of BPR in all aspects of public and private sector businesses. Topics of interest include: * Case studies on successful and failed BPR projects * Applications of new BPR techniques and tools * Public vs private sector BPR initiatives * BPR practice in developed countries vs developing countries * Emergent theories based on extended real world experience * Relevance of the BPR paradigm in the next millennium

SUBMISSIONS
Authors who are interested in submitting a paper should notify the symposium chair (preferably by email). The intent to submit must be received by October 25, 1996. The intent should include a title, author affiliation and correspondence information, and a brief description (maximum 100 words) of the proposed paper coverage. Authors whose proposals fit within the symposium scope will be invited to submit summaries of their papers (around 1000 words) for review.
PUBLICATIONS
The proceedings of the symposium will be published in print and CD-ROM form. Selected papers may be further considered for publication in international journals such as the Business Change & Reengineering Journal, the Business Process Management Journal, and the Journal of Applied Management Studies.
