Does this mean that they're going to change the ridiculous US government crypto-policies? If it doesn't, then it's just more "motherhoods"! I'm talking about real change, not shifting the unworkable, anal-retentive policies from one bureau to another.

Because Clinton and Gore are more progressive than, say, Hatch and Helms does not mean that they are doing the right thing in this area. Chanting "Information Highway" is not the same as aiding its progress.

This affects all elements of the global economy, enterprise integration (especially for global enterprises), electronic commerce, and the future of distributed IT.
