SUBMISSION DATES

We are looking for speakers/participants from government, academia and in= dustry for this conference and workshop. Please send the title and abstr= act (200 words) of your presentation as well as your address, telephone n= umber, fax, and e-mail to the listed contact persons. The selected paper= s of this conference will be published in the "International Journal of A= gile Manufacturing (IJAM)" or the "International Journal of Advanced Manu= facturing (IJAMS)". The abstract of the paper will be due by Feb. 28th, = 1998 and the paper will be due by March 31st,1998.

MANUSCRIPT PREPARATION The paper size should be Letter 8.5 x 11 in. Manuscripts should be type = written, single-spaced. Margins should be as follows: top, right, and bo= ttom should be 0.75 of an inch from the edge of the page; the (left) bind= ing edge should be 1 inch from the edge. Articles must be in English. M= anuscripts (including tables, charts, and figures) should not exceed 4,00= 0 words (approximately 10-12 typewritten single-spaced pages). Pictures = should be black and white at high contrast. Drawings should be in black = ink. All images should be scanned at 300dpi at 150 line screen and saved= as a TIF or EPS file. The font must be Times New Roman. =

The main title should be font size 14, all caps, bold, and centered. It = must be followed by the author's name, in font size 13, bold and centered= =2E The author's professional title must follow under the name in font s= ize 12, regular and centered. The company/institution name must follow u= nder the professional title using the same format, and followed by the co= mplete mailing address, telephone, fax, and/or e-mail, all using the same= format. There must be a short abstract (200 words) and 5-10 relevant ke= ywords. All acronyms should be spelled out when first used. The word "a= bstract" should be in font size 13, bold, all caps, and aligned left. Al= l text should be font size 12, regular, and justified. The word "keyword= s" should be font size 12 and bold, the keywords should immediately follo= w after a colon on the same line, regular. The word "introduction" and i= ts text should follow the same format as the abstract. All subtitles sho= uld be font size 13, bold, aligned left, and underlined; sub-subtitles sh= ould follow the same format only without underlining. The word "figure" = or pictures' and tables' titles should be font size 13, bold, and centere= d. Please send your manuscript on a 3 1/2 in. floppy using MicroSoft Wor= d along with two hard copies.
