Call for Papers

The objective of the conference is to bring together, on a common platform, researchers, academicians, application engineers, users of CAD/CAM, robotics and factory automation technologies and methodologies and policy makers. Papers are invited in the following areas relevant to the conference theme: CAD/CAM, CAE, CAPP, CIM, FMS, CE Computer-Aided Production Management - CAPM Design for Manufacture and Assembly Artificial Intelligence / Knowledge Based Systems Information Technology Applied to Manufacturing Computer-Aided Engineering Education Sensors and Applications, Robotics and Automation Lean Manufacturing, Scheduling Logistics Modeling and Simulation Rapid Prototyping, Machine Vision Management of Technology, Operations Management Cellular Manufacturing, Agile Manufacturing Education and Training Total Quality Management Socio-Economic Issues Mechatronics SCADA Systems Distributed Control Systems Energy and Manufacturing

Language The official language of the Conference is English. No simultaneous translation will be provided by the Chairman

Paper Submission, Presentation and Enquiries

Abstracts can be sent either by fax or e-mail (using rich text format (RTF) or plain text) to: Dr. P. Two copies of the Abstract, not exceeding 500 words, typed single space on an 8.5" x 11" (21.5 cm x 28cm) plain paper with 1" (2.5 cm) margin all around. Please state full name, affiliation, address, telephone, fax and E-mail address of all corresponding authors. The closing date for receipt of Abstract is January 14, 2000. Notification of acceptance and instructions to prepare the manuscripts will be mailed to author by January 31, 2000. The closing date for receipt of final manuscripts for inclusion in the conference proceedings is May 5, 2000.

Paper Publication in Journals Selected papers from the conference participants will be published in International Journal of Agile Manufacturing (IJAM) and International Journal for Advanced Manufacturing Systems (IJAMS) upon the satisfactory review process.
