SCOPE OF THE CONFERENCE
BASYS 2002 will address Information Technology for Balanced Automation Systems in Manufacturing and Services. The focus of the conference will be to explore new challenges faced by the integration of Knowledge and Technology as major drivers for business changes considering Product and Services Life Cycles.
OBJECTIVES
BASYS 2002 will promote discussions and interactions between researchers and people from industrial practice on the areas included, but not limited to those mentioned, within the four tracks specified below. We are particularly interested in exchanging concepts, models,methodologies, technological developments, case studies, new research ideas, and other results, which could contribute to this general field of research and benefit businesses and industrial communities Therefore, the conference is expected to bring together researchers, practitioners, developers and users of tools, technology transfer experts and project managers, among others.
