Now in its 9th edition, ISPE/CE2001 - Concurrent Engineering: Research and Applications, is a major forum for the international scientific exchange of multi-disciplinary and inter-organizational aspects of concurrent engineering (CE). The focus is on the research and use of integrated enterprise processes, collaborative work, interoperability and information sharing, co-locating resources, and integrated frameworks and tools. This conference addresses the state of the art in research and applications issues of CE.

Submissions are invited on substantial, original and previously unpublished research in all life-cycle areas of product design, engineering and manufacturing, including, but not limited to:

CE2002 Workshops report very recent research in the form of a shorter paper and provides a forum for active discussion. Every workshop should have 4/5 papers.
